Memory Game

1. As a comment on this post, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

And if you're just a "lurker" that I don't know very well, please use this as an excuse to comment and say hello!

Memory of Susan... there are so many...you feeding me after I laid on your couch all day with morning sickness. Food stayed down better when I ate at someone else's house! Thanks for taking such good care of me! Tater-tot casserole - you taught me that one. You had two kids, and I was pregnant with my first - I looked up to you and Jay because you had so much experience as parents. I remember wondering why you cared if Jay was home to give the kids a bath. What a silly question. As a mom, now I know how important it was! I remember you were never afraid to cut the fingernails of my tiny twins when I was too afraid of cutting their fingers too!

My first memory of you, before we even met: I got the info on my Peace roommate and decided to write her a letter. "I'm 5'4, have dishwater blonde hair, bla bla bla...." Sent it off. Got a letter from you, the roomie: "I'm 5'4, have dishwater blonde hair, bla bla bla...." I thought for sure we were going to be twins! ;-)

Another favorite is from the time the missionaries gave a presentation to the PSCA. "Can I take one home with me now?" you asked afterward, and I was shocked. "Susan!" I said, thinking you meant one of the elders. "They're missionaries! Look but don't touch!" Turns out you meant a Book of Mormon, lol!

Love you! :-)

Most of my memories of you are you taking care of me and my kids. But really the very first memory involved me being a dork and calling to you through a closed window in Charleston--"hey neighbor!" It was so fun to find out that you were members of the church and so much fun. We spent lots of nights hanging out and playing games (like liar's dice!) and eating yummy food. It was so fun to live in VA near you too. You have introduced me to a lot of good things: Busch Gardens season passes, homemade oreos, diet Coke and pampering myself. You are just such a fun friend!!

My favorite memories of you are from your time in Provo--cashiering at the bookstore, your apt in Springville, then the one in Provo, then the one down the hall, games on Sunday nights, but mostly what I appreciate is your giving the real scoop on the Forsgren's, the side Mike tried to hide while we were dating. I appreciate the sisterhood you shared with me right from the start, before I even was your sister (in-law). Wish you lived closer! But I'm glad neither of us are in Provo anymore!

You were the first NEW Forsgren wife, sister in law I talked to before I married DOug (minus Ann of course, I knew her since I was 15 or so and Jessica because she lived in MN)
You helped me so much with your nice phone call asking me about my dress and welcoming me into the family. I had had some interesting experiences up to that point and was pretty nervous. I knew someone I didn't know accepted me into the family and it helped me so much to feel comfortable. Thanks for being such a great sister-in-law! I have felt your love ever since
